Help support the show!

Champions for privacy rights, Fight for the Future, launched a new campaign to ban facial recognition at music festivals. You can read and sign their petition here:
Facial rec misidentifies the "subject" (whose rights are being grossly violated in nightmarishly Orwellian ways) up to 98% of the time. This gross bullshit needs to stop.

If you had to pick a group of people that would make you feel like US elections were safe, free, and fair, chances are the last motherfuckers on the planet you'd tap for that spot would be Microsoft, the Pentagon, the office of the Director of National Intelligence, the CIA, and the Department of Homeland Security. Nor would you, as a backup plan, trust former heads of intelligence agencies to determine what is or isn't fake news. Neither would you shrug off DARPA declaring to sanitize social media of all non-narrative driven content within four years. You wouldn't, but we live in a fucking cartoon, so that's what's happening right now.
